If you’re looking for a great Texas whitetail deer hunt, you have come to the right place! Located in southwest Texas just south of Sheffield, Brinlee Ranch Hunts has over 60,000 acres of prime low-fence whitetail deer hunting habitat consisting of deep canyons and draws, cedar breaks, and open flats with mesquite and brush. The Texas whitetail deer are abundant in this area and for the past 10 years deer hunters at Brinlee Ranch Hunts have enjoyed a 100% success rate on their Texas deer hunts. The ranch has plenty of trophy bucks that will score 125 - 170 B&C or better. Trophy expectations are a realistic 130-140 B&C.

Brinlee Ranch Hunts has an intensive management program in place to insure the whitetail deer obtain the highest amount of antler and body growth. Dan Brinlee works closely with biologists and wildlife specialists from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and has developed a uniform deer age structure with an ideal 2:1 doe-to-buck ratio. With a density around 1 deer to 12 acres you can expect to see countless numbers of mature bucks. 
    
Our fully guided Texas whitetail rifle hunt is a 4-day hunt and is done from tower and ground blinds. We also offer safari-style and spot-and-stalk methods so you will find a deer hunting style to accommodate your needs.  For the bow hunter, our stands and feeders are set up with the bow hunter in mind. You have the choice of hunting from a ground blind or from a tripod stand. Each blind is set up at a feeder to assure your success. You will have the opportunity to harvest 1-buck, 2-doe, 1 turkey, and 1 javelina. We can accommodate both individual hunters as well as large groups or parties.
